Honeymoon Israel’s In-Person Event COVID-19 Policy

Updated January 2023

Honeymoon Israel recognizes that COVID-19 continues to be part of our daily lives, even as guidelines and policies change, and/or the number of positive cases fluctuates. To ensure the health and safety of both participants and staff in any Honeymoon Israel event, we continue to take steps to prevent exposure and spread. While we are hopeful that these precautionary measures will limit COVID-19 cases at any given Honeymoon Israel event, we understand that cases may still occur.

These guidelines may be accompanied by local guidelines and/or restrictions where necessary, in accordance with what is recommended by local health officials in a specific area. This document will be updated as health and safety guidelines evolve.

COVID-19 POLICIES

These policies apply to all Honeymoon Israel (HMI) events and functions hosted by Honeymoon Israel including but not limited to information sessions for potential applicants, trip interviews, pre or post trip events, and city-wide programs.

> VACCINATION
All individuals must be fully vaccinated to attend an HMI in-person gathering. The following vaccines are recognized by HMI: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, AstraZeneca, and Novavax. Everyone is encouraged, but not required, to receive booster doses as recommended by the CDC.

> MASKING
If COVID-19 rates are high in a city, proper masking for indoor events may be recommended or required when participants are not eating or drinking.

> ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
HMI reserves the right to add masking or rapid testing requirements to any indoor event. If rapid tests are required and participants need assistance procuring one, HMI will supply tests along with masks and hand sanitizer. At this time, HMI has no capacity limitations for indoor or outdoor gatherings.
